The same plants continued to flower, with the addition of Viburnam Eve
Price, Snowdrops and Crocuses.
February 12th Iris Reticulata
February 14th Bumblebee B. Terrestris found in ivy
Birds Feb 27th Blackbird carrying nesting material into ivy
Also on Feb 27th-1st Siskin of the year, at first on seed feeders, then
on Nyjer, where it stayed 10-15 minutes
Three Blackcaps, two males and a female , have been feeding regularly
in the garden all month
Feb 28th First Frog spawn. This is 4 days later than frogspawn reported
at Carver Hill, on the other side of Wycombe
