Sightings from Pat Morris at Amersham Hill Drive Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Magpie, Robin, Nuthatch, Blackcap,
Jay x2, Wood Pigeons, Collared Dove x2, Blackbirds, Starlings,
Chaffinch, Bramblings x2 (M&F), Greenfinches, Goldfinches x2,
Lesser Redpoll( feeding on niger) (came back and spent 1/2 hour on
feeder at lunchtime),
House sparrow x2, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Long Tailed Tits x3, Coal Tit

Eric Britnell reports When walking in Rose Avenue on Good Friday 22nd April I heard a Cuckoo calling from above my head. On looking up I saw three Cuckoos , with their typically long tails, flying north, loosely together, fairly high. This was the first Cuckoo I have seen for some years.

Otherwise, no other sightings. Lots of non-sightings No Greenfinches in the garden, and rarely see or hear any Song Thrushes.

Cuckoo heard calling in Penn Wood on Monday 25th April, at lunchtime, near the cattle enclosures.

30th April Harlequin ladybirds in garden, and another one in
a relic of woodland , at the top of Green Hill. Two willow warblers were
singing in Common Wood
