About
Wycombe
Wildlife Group was formed in 1989, as one of many Urban Wildlife
Groups. Our members all have an interest in the Environment, want
to learn more about our wildlife, and help conserve it for the enjoyment
of people today and for generations to come.
We have
a full programme of activities to which. everyone is welcome - you
do not have to be "an expert", just have an interest in
your environment.
Activities include Practical Site Conservation, Wildlife Gardening,
Biological Surveying, Walks and Talks and occasional Visits. We
provide advice to help others create habitat management plans.
Our
Newsletter "Wildlife News" is published three times a year and
selected articles will be included on this site.
Most of our meetings
and activities take place within Wycombe District. Details can be found on the Events page.
Every one of our members is important to us. They all provide valuable
support through their subscriptions and many are active on a regular
basis undertaking a range of activities necessary for the success
of the Group.
